User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Too good of a mic
I recently bought this mic on sale at Amazon for about $15.The comfort of the mic is fine and I never had any problems with the fit.During long sessions it never once hurt my ear.The problem is the mic.The mic is way too loud. While some may like this I found it inconvenient since I play my games via stereo. While playing everyone I was playing online with would complain telling me to turn down my sound since it would be on at every explosion or anything.Even when I was playing through the TV speakers I was still getting this problem. If there was a way to get the mic level lowered I would give this product a higher rating unfortunately I am stuck with using the stock head set if I want to play with my home theater system on.

4 Stars Nice headset
I bought this one, and is my first headset. I can hear people talk loud and clear. However, i always have it in mute, because it makes an horrible noise, and this bothers the other players. It sounds like interference, but I have tried everything. I will try another one, but I read that a lot of people are having this problem with this headset.

It is very comfortable and have light weight.

3 Stars Average headset
I was excited to get a Plantronics headset, reading about their typical quality they normally produce. I was sort of let down. On the plus side, it is not as uncomfortable as I have read in other reviews. Audio can be heard clearly through the earpiece. The 3.5mm jack fits but loosely into the Xbox controller. However the microphone was the problem. It is supposed to have some sort of noise-canceling feature built-in. But when I would speak into the microphone on Xbox Live, my friends claimed there was some static noise that could be heard. I verified this myself by recording a voice message to myself. I may have just gotten unlucky and received a dud, who knows? For $15, I figured it wouldn’t hurt. I kind of wish I got those $15 back. Oh well.

5 Stars excelent product
this thing is great, it’s soft so it wont hurt your ears, sound comes in loud and cristal clear. would be better if it was wireless but i love it still. wouldn’t trade it for any other headset.

5 Stars The big one
This product is amazing. I find myself wearing it even if I have no one to talk to over the internet. It picks up sound from almost anywhere in the room; so make sure you don’t have company over. The volume control on it is awsome and so is the feature that allows the user to turn it off with unplugging it from the control to talk to someone without everyone listening in. What a find.
