4 Stars Amped 3
This game is alot more realistic than SSX and has an amazing storyline. The areas are based on real mountains and are very open. The best parts are being able to ride a snowmobile at anytime in the game, which makes getting places very easy.If you liked Tony Hawk, than this game is basically the same with the controls and feel.

4 Stars satisfied
amped 3 is good. thankful how swift it arrived. it was a gift and they are satisified with the game play.

1 Star Complete and Utter Failure
Compared to SSX3 or SSX on tour for the playstation2. This game SUXS.

3 Stars It’s OK
I really love Amped 2 and that’s the reason I bought this game.

But Amped 3 is completely different. It’s very funny and has lots of things to do.

But at the same time, it doesn’t have multiplayer mode or tutorial (the controls are easy, but it was nice to have this feature to learn all).

I don’t regret buying this game, but I like Amped 2 better.

5 Stars What is going on???
Ok, amped 3 is probobly one of the craziest games ever made. The people who created this must have been on all sorts of drugs to come up with one of the most pointless and histerical storylines ever. You have to play the game to understand how really crazy this game is.

5 Stars Nearly four years later, and it’s still a fun game
I recently bought Psychonauts for my aging Xbox. The game was used but in like new condition, for less than $20 I took a chance on it.

Boy, am I glad I did. This game is extensive, there’s a little bit of everything in here. The “real world” is limited to the camp with its perfect lazy summer day background music. However, the minds of people you meet extend into Spanish bull-fighting, discos, a World War II-like battlefield, a Risk board game against Napoleon Bonaparte, a peaceful appearing neighborhood where spy cameras poke out of lawn ornaments, and, my favorite, a scenario where you play a Godzilla-type character. There are so many funny sayings…. overall, you can tell that a LOT of thought went into this game.

I’ve been playing for nearly 30 hours, and I’m finally nearing the end. I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. I’m not one of those people that can play spooky Doom 3 type games…. I’m far too high-strung for zombies to be creeping up on me. So, Psychonauts is a great choice if you don’t care for those bloody games, either, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for an affordable game for your original Xbox.

5 Stars Instant Classic
It’s a shame adventure games like this aren’t being made as much anymore. I grew up on adventure games such as King’s Quest, Quest for Glory, Space Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, and of course the Tim Schafer games, Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango, and Full Throttle. Psychonauts brings adventure gaming to the platform adventure environment. The creative concept of going into the minds of others and exploring the world in there mind provides a world of limitless imagination. And it even makes me think about the psychology of real people.

The story is engaging, and keeps you glued as you jump into the minds of different people. The graphics are cute. As you get towards the end, it environment and stories become more grim. Controls are decent. I had a minor problem with landing jumps with the camera angle and shimmying along edges, but nothing major. I highly recommend this game to anyone who’s a platformer, adventure, puzzle fan.

I really hope there’s a sequel.

5 Stars I’ve put so many hours into this game…
I finally got 100% on this game but it took long enough! This is one of the most underrated games of all time. Charming platformer. Great replay value. I would have paid ten times the amount I did and for the hours I’ve gotten out of it… totally worth it.

5 Stars itr seems to stick with you
i played this game when it first came out and I’ll never forget it! i loved it so much! but it is just a game.

5 Stars Could be a perfect 360 game! You listening, Microsoft?
I’m only a few hours into this title and the other 5-star reviews aren’t lying…this is a fabulous game on all levels (save one, w/ caveats–and that I’ll get to later). I’m a long-time gamer (began on the Atari 2600 and Apple IIe) so I’ve sort of ‘seen it all’– and thus find myself gravitating towards titles that transcend genre and cliched game mechanics. The same old, same old, even with splashy new next-gen hooks, well, BORES ME.

“Psychonauts” acheives both the comfort of familiarity and the refreshing draw of the truly inspired and original. It’s familiar in the sense that it creates and evokes a world akin to a Pixar feature–it has bright colors, lots of humor and the game is engineered in such a way that you immediately feel safe to explore. The blood and gore is left checked at the door…but the intelligence and freshness isn’t, so the surprises and rewards for playing arent’ cheap shock, but more substantive. You quickly grow to love the characters and the world.

I wish there were more of this type of gaming available on the Xbox–it reminds me why I was so fond of the variety available on the Playstation 2, and why I enjoyed titles ranging from Ico, Klonoa, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear and so on, to outstanding end-of-life titles such as Shadow of the Colossus and Okami. In none of those are you pushed to spill human blood in mindless swaths, and they were all incredibly gorgeous and innovative.

In the end, my only complaint/caveat is that there is no next-gen upgrade available for this title–”Psychonauts” begs to be given an overhaul for the 360s graphics engine capabilities, much like the upcoming PS3 “Ratchet and Clank” title will have. Alas, this isn’t any demerit to the developers, but more a woeful shake of the head to the Xbox audience that didn’t give this game it’s due respect in sales and thus encourage such an enterprise.

Go buy this game and enjoy–and keep your fingers crossed that Microsoft will eventually ‘get it’ the way I’m betting you will…

2 Stars good game for children younger than 10 or for xbox beginner
If you are a new user for xbox, this game is good for you to exercise how to use the controler precisely and smoothly. And, if you have a boy or girl under 10 years old, this game might be good for them to kill time. But for adult, this game is little bit boring.

Another comment: I believe this game is made by a Japanese company – do the characters in the game speak English? Or, terrible English.

1 Star Buy Fuzion Frenzy 1
The “gameshow host” in this game is possibly the most annoying computer generated character since Jar Jar Binks.

This game is actually pretty fun for about 2 hours.

One good thing about it- you can earn a lot of easy gamerscore points by playing through with each of the different characters. That’s really the only good thing about it.

3 Stars Good Multiplayer Fun
This is one of the best Multiplayer mini games available on the Xbox 360. That’s not saying much though… I rented this game the other day and the single player is disappointing. The best part about this game would have to be the 4 player multiplayer option it has. It’s a fun party game if you have a few friends over. Now that it’s down to $20, it’s not a bad pickup if you’re looking for some fun.

4 Stars Not bad…
Fuzion Freny 2 is a pretty good game…its not going to blow you away with its originality…but its a decent party game to play with your friends and/or family. Most of the games are fun, though a few can be difficult at times. But with around 40 minigames to choose from, you should be having fun with this one for a while!!

2 Stars No better than part 1
I liked FF 1 better. I guess the sequel didn’t outdo it. If you want it, get it used/discounted.

Oddworld Munchs Oddysee

Oddworld Munchs Oddysee

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee puts you in charge of Munch — an unlikely hero, even for the Oddworld games!

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Sounds made the game, without it….
I recently purchased a 360, and had played Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey a while before. I thought this game would be good, especially with the “Platinum Hits” plastered on it. The gameplay changed drastically! Maybe because now it’s in 3D, it seems less entertaining. And you run around collecting these weird fruits to access portals to free Mudokons. Worst part: SOUND. I don’t know if it’s because the 360, but when you tell your little friends to follow you, or let one rip, hard, YOU CAN’T HEAR ANYTHING! Even with the music turned down, and turning the volume up, you can barely hear anything.

I stopped playing mid-first level.

4 Stars Love it!!!
Great game! Loved playing it on Playstation. It broke, replaced with XBOX, so to have the same game again is great! Graphics are great and I’m still learning to navigate, but I’m having a blast!

5 Stars Why Not?
This game is one of the best… and if you have kept up with the Oddworld games you must have this one in your collection.

4 Stars Return of the Gabbits.
MUNCH’S ODDYSEE is the first game in the Oddysee franchise that I have played. The first two games in the series were released on Playstation formats, but MUNCH’S ODDYSEE came out on X-Box and was one of the launch games of that system. I first played this game at a friend’s house not long after it came out. I was fascinated by the amazing graphics and having different characters in the world literally follow the main characters around. It wasn’t until recently, however, that I was able to get the game myself and play it all the way through.

MUNCH’S ODDYSEE is the third game in the Oddworld series. If you’re like me and have never played any of the other games in the series, that’s okay because there’s a movie at the beginning of the game that explains Abe’s adventures in the first two games and the connection between Abe’s race, the Mudokon’s, and Gabe’s race, the Gabbits. Munch is the last living Gabbit, but is captured by the evil Vykkers, a race of creatures bent on domination, consumerism, industrialism, and environmental destruction. Munch is taken captive and one of the early levels of MUNCH’S ODDYSEE involves helping Munch escape from the Vykker’s labs’ ship. Once Abe and Munch meet up, the general storyline of the game involves getting back to the Vykker’s Labs ship to rescue the egg crates full of Mudokon young and save the last can of Gabbit eggs in existence.

The graphics in the game are amazing. It feels and looks like you are playing a movie. This shouldn’t come as a surprise because the Oddworld series was originally conceived as a set of films. However, the company, Oddworld Inhabitants, started making video games instead. Oddworld Inhabitants has gone back to their original plans and the first Oddworld movie is apparently in production.

As for game play, MUNCH’S ODDYSEE is simple enough that even most beginning gamers can play along fairly easily, yet the game has enough challenges to make it interesting enough for life-long gamers. The game is fun to play and appeals to children and young adults, but has enough humor and oddity to appeal that it appeals to older gamers, too. Now that I’ve experienced Oddworld, I’m looking forward to the cinematic tales Oddworld Inhabitants will bring.

4 Stars Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee
You can buy this for pc also, simply awesome graphics, very realistic, but corny at the same time. Depends on where your humor level is…and if the great graphics are enough for you. Gameplay, good for kids…not so much for adults.
