2 Stars An okay Game
Just Cause is a GTA-ish type game that is not as good as GTA. I found the game to be a little monotonous and frequently glitchy. There are some cool features in the game such as parachuting and flying a good variety of different planes, and the explorable area in this game is HUGE. To be honest though, I found myself playing it through just to finish it, even though I wasn’t always having fun while doing it. If you can get it for under 15 dollars you may be satisfied with your purchase.
1 Star Horrible
This game is perhaps the worst video game i have ever played.
yes the graphics are nice but the gameplay is horrific, boring, and just plain not fun, i rented this game and after 5 minutes i had enough and i gave it another 20 minutes and no improvement.
Negative:
The music is anoying, the controls suck, jumping off of car roofs is only fun the first 20 times, not realistic at all, environment is unplayable despite it being a huge map (you have to stick close to the roads).
this game could have been amazing if they worked with rockstar but then again GTA 4 is coming out at the end of april.
if you like GTA, this game will make you mad lol. Don’t bother buying or renting.
2 Stars BLEH, Buy it only if it’s onsale.
I bought this game for 22 bucks plus tax and now I feel like I was ripped off. I played the game for maybe about an hour and have never picked it back up. I’m a little disappointed. It’s like a crappy, blurry version of GTA, except in the bahamas.
Lots of cool stuff to ride on. But it doesn’t seem like you could ever die. It feels like the game is made for a little kid. The aiming is pretty much done for you, yet the ability to drive just plain sucks.
Not even worth stealing.
3 Stars Like a vacation…everything looks great, but I’m still bored.
From a technical perspective, the 360 version of Just Cause stands out for a few reasons. The game engine is very capable and manages to render the huge areas on the fly with little loading times. Everything has a nice sheen and overall, the game looks awfully good. While the in-game models look fairly average, the island of San Espirito looks alive, bustling with activity. The sheer depth of it over the horizon is what grabs you from the initial parachute drop. This one-ups GTA…
Unfortunately, like a lot of similar games, you’ll end up playing some repetitive missions, and the game can bog down a bit here and there (I found myself not playing it for a while as a result). It’s not that bad, but you start to feel like you’re going from one end of the island to the other, over and over, for nearly the same objectives. There are some side-quests to add some variety, but they too aren’t all that interesting. Fortunately, Just Cause adds the addition of the grappling gun and parachute, which make exploring the island a bit more enjoyable, in and of themselves. With the meat of the gameplay being a bit lackluster, at least they made getting around in the game more enjoyable.
2 Stars Not what I was hoping for
This game seemed like it would be awsome but I found it difficult to control, lacking in story and just kind of annoying to watch. I think that fans of the GTA format of games might like it but it has less story and activitys then even the first GTA for playstation. However I am not the best to judge this game since I am more a fan of KOTOR and Oblivion RPG style games then the GTA format
Simpsons Hit and Run

The Simpsons Hit & Run is a hilarious mission-based driving that feels like an episode of the TV show!

4 Stars Simpsons Hit and Run
My 7 year old enjoys it very much. He plays it in spurts. He will play it for a few days in a row, then go to something else, then come back to it and play it for a few days again. He seems to like it.
4 Stars Good game to keep the kids interest
This is one of the best video games for keeping the kids occupied on a rainy day. It follows the TV show pretty close, but has more of an adult edge to it. The kids seem to stick with it longer (not sure if that’s a good thing) than most of their other video games. Looks like fun and I may just give it a try sometime.
5 Stars I’d rather not mention where this game genre is.
HaR (Hit and Run) has many claims to be Grand Theft Auto, Road Rage, and some other games all into one. While HaR has a GTA feel, it is not like GTA because you can’t kill people (hitting them with vehicles or kicking them has them saying something stupid and scream at you), there is no killing cops luckily, etc.
Anyway, the lot of the popular Simpson characters are on this one (sadly, you cannot run into Martin Price because he is not in this game sadly). Instead of mentioning them I should mention that each character will say something hilarious when something happens (car crash, pedestrian hit, getting out of the car, running). My personal favorite is running because a character will complain about running too hard (Homer says “Must… Never…Run…Again….”, made me crack up).
I will agree that missions get repeated but it is in different situations which makes it look like a different mission (otherwise, HaR would loose its gameplay which is never good). Also, your character can buy three clothes unique and based on the show (yes, you can play Bart’s twin brother Hugo in this one). While Lisa’s “Floreda” was something hysterical.
The cars are pretty fun to drive too. Although some are good with crashes but may loose its speed while the faster ones are usually weak. My favorite is Mr. Burns Limo (with Mr. Smithers driving occasionally :creepy:). Even some cars which you have not seen in the show or even exist in an episode will be there (I doubt there is such a thing as Zombie Car or Hover bike).
So, parents, here is the score:
1. Violence not realistic and cartoony. No gore or blood however but the bonus video which has an Itchy and Scratchy clip could be a bit eerie).
2. Homer’s lines does contain some mild language. But people also forget that the other characters do have their swearing moments.
3. There is a very silly occult moment on one level, hopefully reminding you of those Treehouse of Horror episodes.
So, if you don’t like the Simpsons, don’t bother with this one but any vivid Simpson fan will enjoy this.
4 Stars Great Game For A Simpsons Fan
In my opinion, this is a very good game, especially considering the fact that I am an avid admirer of the Simpsons. This game is among the best Simpsons games ever made. It is like a combination of action, adventure, and sports all in one. Adventure through all of the various parts of Springfield in this Grand Theft Auto-like game. This game is packed with all sorts of little Simpsons humor and you will learn a lot about the world of the Simpsons. You pick up trivia from every corner of this game to make sure that there is not a boring moment. There are many different kinds of things to do in this game. What you do will reflect your personality. If you love cars, you will journey through the game and try to collect all sorts of vehicles, trying to find the one that feels perfect just for you. An interesting part of this game is that all of the cars come with their very own rating. There are ratings for speed, acceleration, toughness, and handling. Choose the car that best fits your style of play. Journey on the safe side of the law and pick a car that you can go slowly in with nice handling to avoid accidents and run-ins with the police or take a ride on the wild side and get the fastest car possible to cause carnage all over Springfield. For those video-gamers who love a good challenge, this game has all sorts of tough bonus missions making you sit there and try your hardest to complete them. The scenarios in this range from peaceful suburban neighborhoods with law abiding citizens, (with the exception of the player) to jam-packed cities breeming with all sorts of colorful characters and vehicles. Each level features a different character (some levels make you play with a previous character) with a total of 7 levels in the whole game (don’t let the small number of levels fool you, they take a long time to complete). There are all sorts of little things you have to do to complete each level 100%, but you can get through each level by completing just the primary missions of the level. To 100% all of the levels, you need to destroy all sorts of things, find hidden objects, and complete all sorts of bonus missions. The missions in this game feature skills that you need steady hands for. These include chasing, tailing, destroying, and rushing along. This game boasts a vast amount of mystery when it comes to the plot. It is exceedingly eccentric, but will still keep you wanting more. The entire game is shrouded in mystery. The last level features a creepy surprise that you will have to play the game to find out. Overall this is a very good game that I am sure all Simpsons fans(and most others) will greatly enjoy.
5 Stars Just fun, and not too difficult
I love racing games, but think they can get too serious. I love destroying things, but if the enemy shoots back too much, I get stressed. I love exploring and finding things, but if they puzzles get too hard, I might as well be working. Simpsons, Hit and Run, strikes the balance in all categories. It is just all around fun, the characters from the series are all there, and it is easy enough that X-Box novices can enjoy it, too. I got the game yesterday and played for hours with a friend who doesn’t own a console. I recommend this game!

2 Stars SuperMeh.
For a IP with so much available backstory you would think that this would be a sandbox style game with the flair and fun of one of the Spiderman games. That incorrect. The grey muted palette, half wit story lines and laughable combo system turns this game into yet another lame movie tie in. Another buck to be made of kids and unknowing gamers.
Save yourself the money and rent or trade. This is not worth 60$. It is not worth the expenditure of energy to unwrap it.
3 Stars Cool Game,… Could be better
Cool game, could be better,.. a lot like the others, XMen, Spiderman, and I am sure IRON MAN,.. Fly around, shoot and things. Not bad.
1 Star Pretty lame
I bought this because it was on sale for $15-$20 or something back when it was listed at like $60 (man did I get screwed!) It’s kinda fun to fly around and stuff for a little bit, but the fighting is pretty lame. The way the whole game was set up seemed pretty lame. I didn’t play it for more than maybe an hour or two. I wonder if Gamestop would give me $1 for it on a trade, that would be a good deal. I’m not a fan of GTA and I’ve never played the Spider Man games, so maybe it’s fun if you are a sandbox gamer looking for a cheap fix.
3 Stars It’s not as bad as the reviews would lead you to believe
It’s a decent game but rather repetitive. The flying is enjoyable but could be faster. A lot of the tasks are rather simplistic such as killing some aliens. Not too many of the missions are challenging. The 3 blimps being attacked by the dragons was hard until you figure it out then its pretty easy. No way would it have been worth $59 but for the price I paid at amazon ($9.99 at the time) it was definitely worth it. I’ve played much worse for the 360 and though this isn’t a great game its a decent game and one kids would like and adults may enjoy unless repetition drives them insane (Assassin’s Creed, anyone? lol).
3 Stars Good gamerscore source!
This is exactly what you would expect from a movie tie-in; weak story and choppy gameplay. The achievements are easy (you can pick up 650 easy) which I like.If you like superman or free-roam style game then you should like this game.I payed $10 which is good for this game but much beyond that is poor value.
Overall 7.0
