5 Stars no pain no gain
The game is great for the fans, but the save feature is bad, i have fun with the misions, now im stuck in the mision os scouting with a Cylon Rider for the past 6 months, is hard has hell keep track of flying with the others cylon riders and dont get discovered. Buts its fun.

ITS A MUST FOR ALL BATTLESTAR GALACTICA FANS, IT RUNS ON XBOX 360 SMOOTHLY, ITS A MUST IF YOU LOVE THE OLD AND NEW SERIES, THE GAME ITS A LITTLE BIT HARD BUT AFTER A FEW HOURS YOULL GET THROUGH THE MISSIONS.

I would tell people if they liked the old and new show.Buy this game its fun and hard not easy but you will like.

This game was loads of fun. Some people said that it’s too hard, but, I didn’t find it hard at all. Actually it was kind of easy. I think car racing games are much more difficult (too much traffic to deal with on the ground), but flying games are easy (not much traffic to deal with in the air). However, in both driving and flying types games you have to do things at an incredibly high rate of speed. So, my advice is that when you play this game, just get used to thinking and doing things very quickly.
Oh yeah, one more thing, don’t forget to make sure that you fly that stupid Viper like you just stole it and the cops are after you.

missions in this game are fun but the graphics lack a bit. the cars are realistic and the music is great to listen to in free ride.

After playing through Mafia on the PC, this Xbox port is an unexpected disappointment. In hindsight the game never should have been ported to PS2 or Xbox. All of the things that made Mafia so visually arresting on the PC were stripped or deleted from the console version. The draw distance is awful: a hazy fog obscures the beauty of Lost Heaven. The lines on the street barely paint in as the front bumper of your car passes them. The landscape is stripped of detail, leaving only the muddy textures of building surfaces that were forgiveable in the PC game. Many of the customizeable in-game options have been deleted (like the ability to manually shift your car), just adding to the dullness.
I suppose if I hadnt played the PC version first, I could have seen this as acceptable. But knowing how the city of Lost Heaven *should* look and sound leaves me with the impression of a dead, barren world on the Xbox. Get a decent computer and play that version of Mafia; it’s a world of difference.

i think this is the best gangster game i ever play. the story is good,graphic is good, easy control, real life situation, and exciting in each of the scenario. i had play other gangster games, but i think this is the best.

I first played this on PC and i enjoy it, then i played it for XBOX not much the same expereince but still liked playing it…GOOD PLAY
4 Stars An all-around entertaining game!
I am all for people expressing their opinions, but I will say that this game is much better than some of the negative reviews would have you believe. The missions are fun and challenging enough to keep you interested, not frustrated, and the settings/environments are nice.
In response to some of the reviews, I would like to point out that the driving in Mafia is not difficult. It is different because it uses the triggers for acceleration and reverse as opposed to the more common button method, but it is not difficult. You will pick up on the controls and handling in no time at all.
Also, Mafia is not Grand Theft Auto, and it is not meant to be. I don’t know why people continue to rate every game based on how it compares to GTA.
The only aspects of the game that may take some getting use to are the reloading and aiming techniques. It is actually a bit more realistic than other titles, but the timing will frustrate you at first. A trick that I have learned is to keep your backup weapons loaded so that you can switch to them for a quick shot when one piece is empty/reloading.
Bottom line: Whether you rent or buy, you won’t be disappointed with Mafia, as it is a fun game.

5 Stars Are you too an online gamer?
Ok for about 6 years, since online gaming was first intoduced to me, the majority of game I buy now support online multiplayer. Id like everyone to know I am a hardcore gamer, and have very extensive knowledge of most games and systems, im 19 and started with SNES back when i was 8 (yes been gaming most my life)
Out of hundreds of titles ive played, and another hundred ive heavily recearched, if you have XBL (xbox live) this is by far the best game ive ever played in my entire life.
The story almost made me cry, it was simply amazing, pure genious. Ive played through multiplayer about 6 times. Missions do tend to get a bit boring though sometimes because most tend to be too easy.
The destructable environments add so much to this game, as if you break a bridge and it falls on someone under it, they will be taking a nice ammount of damage. The sights and sounds are also amazing, to the point where you can get to the point where you can identify by name the skill comming at you by hearing and seeing it, adding something to this game thats rarely found in almost any game out there.
the online community is a bit dead, but what do you expect from a game that been out around 4 years. You will still be able to find a game though, and if you fill up your friends list with dedicated players of this game, you will experiance the full potential of this game.
With over 350 unique skills the possiblites are endless and you will constantly find yourself tweeking and testing all 15 of your arsenals, even a couple years down the line.
I have owned this game about 3 years.

I’m bored with this game. The graphics are good. The music fits the theme – boring. The gameplay is decent, but boring. The story is slow and boring. Buy this game if you like to be bored.
4 Stars Phantom Dust, the best card game.
I am definitely not a big fan of trading card games. If before I played the game I read that it was a trading card game I would have been put off. The first time I played I thought it was an action game. It is very fun and always have great fun playing the single-player game and especially playing the multi-player game with friends.

Dont get me wrong this game has nice grapics,and ok music. But the game is slow and the controls are a pain, most of the game is just not what one would expect. Retro 80’s looking people basicly running around and getting lost. Its not an Rpg game like Prince of Persia, Fable, Morrowind, or Baldurs Gate. Which I took it to be by reading the back of the game and the reviews here at Amazon. It is not like Maigc the gathering eather. So Im not sure what it is. I just know that if your an major Rpg gamer you will most likely not like this game.

The real reason i bought this game is because it reminds me of dbz style fighting. im a fan of dbz. all and all its grreeaat!!!!!!! buy a copy today ill sleep better knowing u have.

I played the game and it was fun. Played for about an hour before I stopped. Will be something great to help me pass the time.
3 Stars Does Not Make Any Sense!
I played this game with my son and both of us were pretty blown away by how the graphics in this game were so horrendous. We stopped playing the game for a little while. It is fun skating around, but it is not as challenging as, American Wasteland.
4 Stars GREAT, but could be better.
This game rocks. The adventure of becoming a skate pro is exciting and sometimes infuriating. There are some actoin filled missions, and there are some of the same old, same old missions, too. This game is a MUST BUY for any skateboarding fan.

this is a good skating game, and i love it but it fell a little bit short of what other games are. after playing TH AW it doesn’t seem as good. its a good game and i like playing it, but its not the best. i do like the storyline though and why ur skating. to become well known.

Ok This is no skateboarding game, this is a fiesta of cardriving and stupid stunts, not a real skateboarding game. YOu dont have to be the best skateboarder to win, you just have to be the stupidist. Dont believe me? Then how come everything you do is a stunt, not involving skateboarding in anyway, and so dangerous that only an idiot would ever try it. DONT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU WANT TRUE SKATYEBOARDING FUN, instead buy THPS 1, 2, 3, or 4. BUY THIS GAME if you want a bunch of daredevil nonsense.
