Need For Speed’s new focus on track racing may bring it back into the spotlight of the racing game genre. With previous titles focusing more on the less than legal side of driving, taking the game into the more focused and difficult pro circuit racing series creates new interest in the series as a whole, to see what it can do, and where the rival racing games will try to react against the Need For Speed series. As some of the racing genres are console exclusive, bringing a multi-platform ti

1 Star this product sucks
When i bougth this product i think, this is a god product, so i bought, after a 2 weeks these controllers broken.

Dont receive a signal and i went to a electtrics service and them told me, these controllers desnt have repair. please dont bught these.

5 Stars Great purchase!
I was a little sceptical about buying this product after reading the ratings, but it turned out to be a good purchase. I had it connected and was gaming within 10 minutes of taking them out of the box. So far, it works great – easy set up and installation. Have only used it with Fight Night round 3. I will probably do another review after I play with some other games. So far I highly recommend this product.

2 Stars Great size for younger children.
My kids loved it but my 4 year old complained that one did not work within hours of me setting it up. I checked and sure enough there were extra screws rattling around in the controller. Too bad because they are compact and the kids really liked them so much that I did order another set to see if this is a random manufacturing glitch.

3 Stars xbox mini wireless controller (2pack)
The remotes are great my kids love them when they work right. One of the remotes left thumb stick doesnt work and also the A button doesnt work. Causes them a lot of frustration. Other than this problem the one that works works well

3 Stars to small gamepads…
i cant play my favorite shooting games cause this gamepad have no precision at all..only sport and racing games..

5 Stars AWESOME!!!
HAHA!!! I started playing this game when it when it first came out on playstation 1! and i’ve looooved it ever since!, its a very ‘cute’ game!, i mean if you’re a serious game player and want realistic racing you might not like it very much, its just fun, funny in a cute way… Ideal for kids or everytone! (I’m 21 and i’m totally hooked up on it!!) its just cool….

4 Stars great
I bought this for my son for Christmas. It arrived promptly and my son

loves it.

5 Stars Yet Another Racer, but Fun!
Having tried a dozen cartoon-style racing games on many systems, I must say this title does a pretty good job of actually being fun. You start as Crash Bandicoot in an amusement park and explore on foot the different “lands” to collect items to open up tracks, vehicles, and events. While the exploring is fine, the racing itself is quite good. The three lap tracks resemble rides that match the land’s theme complete with moving scenery. Since battling is an added element to the racing, the tracks seem long and broad enough to allow for maneuvering while attacking the other racers. The Clash feature where you hit the “Y” button and merge with a nearby car is quite easy to do and a nice change to the typical race and grab the power-ups formula. You and the other racer can either drive or use a turret style gun and depending on your preference, you can switch between the two while in the heat of the race. Battle and stunt arenas are also included here to round out the number of places to race.

Humor is quite in abundance and make for funny touches. The music for one is a bit loony. Animated gags and cut scenes, especially of Crash being blown away by a cannon leaving behind a smoking pair of sneakers, are reminiscent of the Tex Avery brand of cartoon laughs. The tracks themselves are titled with names and familiar references like “Pirates of the Carburator” and the storybook-land “Happily Ever Faster”. You may, depending on your familiarity with sports commentators, recognize the Howard Cossell-like voiceover throughout the game as well.

This title makes for a really good time and if you lean towards humorous racing games completely devoid of any seriousness, you can’t go wrong.

5 Stars FUN FUN FUN!
I play this game with my nephew every time he comes over its a blast for him and me. The graphis are very good and the game play stays interesting. The game also stays very true to the tv show. Its absolutely a must own game.

4 Stars The Truth about Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee…
Hello again and let me be the first one to say that this was a step out of my ordinary, as I don’t play alot of racing games. However I have played the other two Dukes of Hazzard games made for PSX1 and will not be leaving reviews for these titles. I feel in a nutshell that this game, Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee for PSX2, delivered in all the areas that the first two titles failed.

As I stated I played this title for PSX2 and not XBox being that I don’t even own an XBox… I have my reasons. I also want to clear up the fact the the other two titles for PSX1 are not bad games… they are decent… but this game is better in everyway. Now lets get on with the review…

The game itself is the Dukes of Hazzard in alot of ways, from the music to the sounds and even to the voice casting which is top notch. I enjoyed this game alot and still do whenever I get a bunch of good ‘ol boys together that think they can beat me in an overland race. The graphics might I add are better than the original games for PSX1 which of course is to be expected being that we are talking PSX1 to PSX2 here.

The only reason this game received four stars instead of 5 in both areas is because it is very difficult. As alot of reviews have stated they took no liberty in allowing for easy unlocks or fast playing. I don’t think games should be easy all the time but when you have to win several specific “missions” to unlock certain cars for multiplayer… now that gets kinda rough.

All in all though if you stick to the wheel and blast the horn you will come out on top eventually. I would say if you are or were a Dukes of Hazzard fan… pick this game up. If your a racing game type of person… pick this game up, chances are your into racing because of Dukes of Hazzard and I’m sure you will enjoy this game either way.

Until next time… :)

5 Stars yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww
this game is everything i expected it to be and more.thats extremely unusual given my extraordinarily large imagination.if youve seen the show, then you know what to expect, cop chases, dynamite, moonshine, crazy off road driving, insane jumps and GOD!YES! them daisy dukes!its loads of fun.theres even a racetrack!its just like the show but with you driving!theres bluegrass music, waylon jennings, voice overs and all of it!there seem to be a lot of redneck games out lately for the x-box.i sure am glad i live in wva or people might think i was a hillbilly.i mean, seriously, theres hunting games, the dukes, truckers, cowboys………………….all ive got left to say is (…)!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Stars this game rocks
Iloved this game.I spent a long time playing dukes of hazzerd and every second playing it I loved it.

5 Stars Dukes Are Back!!!!!!!
All I have to say is this game rocks! After playing it, you tend to get hooked on it to see what happens next in the story. The best thing about this game is the jumps. Like the TV show, you go through a series of jumps that are out of this world. It’s cool how they make it look like your flying in the air. Also, unlike the other dukes games on PS1, you have more freedom like more field to explore, different car angles, cars sound more real-like. Overall, if you are fan of the show, or just a fan of fast cars and jumps, then buy this game.Yee Haww!

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Looks better then the gameplay
Unfortunately, this sequel to the Playstation’s Crash Team Racing was a flop.

You play as Team Bandicoot (The Good Guys) or Team Cortex (The Bad Guys)in this very poor excuse for a racing game. Come on, everyone knows that when you think of kart racing your thinking of Mario Kart; so did the people at Vicarius Visions, Universal Interactive, and Vivendi Universal.(Those dudes who made that terrible Buffy game)

Audio- Nice,in game Dolby Digital A+

Visuals- Very sleek and and cartoony, perfect for a game like this. A+

Gameplay- Well, from the images and the and the great audio you would think this game would have great gameplay, well I’m sorry to dissapoint you but you WON’T be impressed. First there’s the one player mode, which is an “Adventure” where you’ll have to complete tedious challenges and race the AI. You have the choice to choose which character to use in each challenge or race, but they all prety much drive the same no matter what the manual says. Racing the AI players is just to easy, mainly because they don’t really give up much of a fight. Then all of a sudden it’s like the game kicked in to EXTRA HARD mode and the AI players are just zipping by. Very annoying. You do have a choice of of weapons, but they don’t really seem to prevent you from winning. Or if your not into the “Adventure” (Wouldn’t Blame You) then theres the multiplayer. There you can chosse between battle or racing other players. The battles are fun, buttle get boring FAST. The Multipalyer racing can be entertaining if your NOT racing. F

OVERALL – D+

4 Stars Super Mario 64 Meets Nascar
I’m a big fan of racing games, and got this one for my birthday (which, as I’ve said before, is a GREAT value).

This game has a storyline, but here you go–If you don’t care about the storyline, it doesn’t really matter that much. Just go racing!

If you do care about the storyline, you are supposed to try and escape from the evil alien (close enough) To do this, you need to win enough races to qualify to race his champions. This is where you meet Super Mario 64. In simplest terms there is a world that you drive around in which connects all of the race tracks together. You have to win at certain ranking levels before you can progress on to new tracks. There are also challenging, hard-to-get-to areas that require you to learn the car’s special moves.
This pays off though, because then you know how to use them in the races, and you win more often. In the races, you get better at the moves, which in turn helps you get to more hard spots in the world map.

*****Final Thoughts*****
This is a fun game for up to four players. The basic controls are easy to learn, and the advanced controls are relatively easy to learn, but take longer to master. If you like storylines, you’ll love this game. If you don’t, you’ll enjoy the game, but may get frustrated trying to unlock extra tracks and vehicles.

5 Stars best crash game ever
do you like crash, well if you do you should read about this game and see if you like it.My favorite part is that you start off with 8 cars and unlock seven. This game got realistic graphics and if you like cartoon racing games for example Mario Kart Double Dash crash nitro kart might be the game you want but I am not forcing you to get it I am just giving you information about this game, well hope you get a game that you like.

3 Stars Fun Game But Graphic Issues
This game is alot of fun. It is based on the excellent concept of the racing game Re-Volt.

On major problem is that the game is supposed to be in 720i format, which my X-Box and HDTV will support, but when I set my box to that format the game won’t even load. This is a glitch, or the game is just 480i resolution. The graphics are good, but they aren’t in 720i.

4 Stars Excellent
This Game is really fun. If you want a substitute of mario kart for xbox, this game is for you. Graphics and sounds are good. Graphics are much better on the xbox version than the ps2. I don’t know why people say its boring. Personall I never played the CTR, but this game is awesome.
