Harmonix has dropped today’s first taste of The Beatles: Rock Band track list in the new trailer above which contains eight tracks plucked straight from The Beatles’ catalog of greats. Each song in the trailer has a specific chronological backdrop with effects particular to the song, a very cool feature that’ll hopefully add to the watchability of rhythm games for the group of people waiting to play. Tracks from Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown release will be coming to the Rock Band and Rock Band 2 Wii catalog. These three new tracks are a stark contrast with 8 choice original masters from artists participating in the RockStar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival . Rock Band DLC Brings Green Day and Mayhem

Rock Band ’s DLC for next week includes the exclusive Green Day three-pack that was announced last month, in addition to eight tracks from artists involved with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The Mayhem Festival eight-pack will go for $13.49 (1080 Microsoft points), and the Green Day three-pack will cost you $5.49 (440 Microsoft points). Individual songs, as usual, are set at $1.99 (180 Microsoft points, 200 Wii Points). Expect the following tracks to show up next Tuesday, July 7 o
