2 Stars Good idea, Poor Product
The whole idea of having worms in 3D forts, sounds like it would be fun but the actual gameplay was lacking. There are problems with the physics of the game that make many of the weapons very difficult to use. The graphics do look pretty nice, and are one of the pros in the game. The multiplayer games do lack the quickness and speed of the old 2D worms games that made them enjoyable and ideal for a fast pickup game. The controls and the aiming for many of the weapons are hard to get the hang of, so it requires a lot of time just getting a knack of your weapons, before you can become even mildly proficient with them. Overall, this game is a disappointment to the worms series, and I would not recommend purchasing it.
4 Stars Fun
Kind of like the (stronghold) series..but with worms. Couldn’t find it locally..Used Amazon..they always come through..
5 Stars Coolio
This game is cool the graphics are cool to and buy this game because it is fun so buy it.

3 Stars Got boring after awhile
At first, this game seemed different and fun. I enjoyed the first few levels, then it just seemed like I was doing the same thing over and over except this time you’re at city hall, or a warehouse or a whatever. Each level starts with a live action news anchor report. You watch all of them at first until you realize it’s just the same blah, blah, blah over and over again except this time she’s taking about the city hall, or a warehouse or a whatever. I simply tuned out. The gameplay just got tired after awhile.
I guess I had a problem with the premise of the game as well. Thousands of identical hockey-masked terrorists with cleavers have taken over the city? Uh-huh… Hey, I can play along and immerse myself in the worlds of Halo and Half-life no problem. It just seems like if the game environment is supposed to be somewhat like the real world, then the game should be somewhat believeable.
Hey, if you’ve played every shooter on the Xbox and you’re just looking for another quick and cheap adventure, by all means play Urban Chaos. But if you’re already looking toward or playing Xbox 360 titles, this one just doesn’t capture the imagination like some bigger titles.
Not bad, just okay. A better, recent shooter in the same price range I’d recommend is Rogue Trooper.
4 Stars URBAN CHAOS GOOD>SHORT< GAME
Ok, Urban Chaos is a really good shooter, for example the missions are fun, theres blood if thats what you like, and all the weapons and upgrades there are. But theres one bad thing about it……….ITS TO SHORT. Diehard gamers can beat this game in a day, and I think that no game should be that easily beaten, so if it was longer i think it would be SOOOO MUCHHHHH BETTERRRRRRR
5 Stars it was da bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
it was the greatest game with alot of action complete simplistic game controls and overall just great i’m a bad gamer and i beat it in one day but it has sweet tactics to use for killing poeple
4 Stars great gameplay – miserable premise
let me start by saying that urban chaos as a GAME is awesome! fantastic gamplay, level design, graphics, a.i., and controls. a total sense of urgency befalls the player as masked terrorists begin to torch the city. lots of escort and defend missions ensue while always feeling believable and never forced. urban chaos is heavy on the gore factor (which i love) yet far more heavy on keeping its many levels of gameplay fresh. almost all the weapons are fun to use, (especially the chainsaw and the magnum), and the riot shield has got to be one of the most fun gameplay elements to hit consoles since half-life 2’s gravity gun! urban chaos also has multiplayer options via xbox live, which i cannot review simply because i do not have xbox live.
ONTO THE BAD:
HORRIBLE LIVE ACTING!
why anyone would put live actors into their video game is beyond me. it completely takes away from the video game experience. i want to become the character that i’m playing, not envision some crusty actor every time i pull the trigger. even worse is the acting: after every level a debriefing begins as a mock newscast updates you on the story. the actress that plays the newscaster SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO ACT AGAIN! she is not so bad that she’s good, she is just plain nauseating to watch. Black (another really great FPS) was also guilty (in my opinion) of doing the live acting thing- but at least the actors could act!!!!! i must say again, live acting in a video game is lazy and takes away from the overall experience of playing a video game.
HORRIBLE PREMISE
as cartoonish and over the top as urban chaos is- it still should have dispensed with the god awful police state premise. i would never want to be part of a world where big brother is held in such high regard. your character is like a human robocop- judge jury and executioner.
granted that the riot shield is always related to a member of law enforcement, i just wish there was some other way to implement it’s uses while not being part of the whole supercop story. …maybe your character is an ex-cop turned vigilante who finds a way to smuggle the necessary equipment needed to finish the job…. whatever. my idea would destroy some of the in game missions, being that firemen and other officers woud not technically be able to help you or even work with you- but you get my point. the premise of urban chaos sucks!
these two negative factors really brought urban chaos down for me.
overall, i would totally recommend urban chaos to anyone of age and maturity – but i’d tell em to ignore the crap story and live actors.
4 Stars Chaos is fun!
At the time of typing this review, I have not yet completed the game. Though, so far, I have found it quite fun. The levels are designed quite well, and the AI has caught me off guard a couple of times. The rookie level isn’t to easy, like most games, but I haven’t tried the harder difficulties yet.
There are a few timed missions that you have to rush through, but they are optional. The upside to doing these is that you unlock new weapons/upgrades and such.
The controls are easy to remember, and well laid out.
The graphics are nice, I wouldn’t compare them to BLACK, but it has more… Depth? To it.
The riot shiled is a great part to the game, it helps a LOT.
If your looking for a good game to spend some of your spare time on, I would definately recommend this!
